Our 2020-2021 Touring Repertoire
For our current season, we have virtual offerings and select, in-person offerings to choose from. You might be wondering, “What is a virtual show?” This is a new offering for us — a live, interactive performance over Zoom or another selected platform. We’ve worked hard to make these shows interactive and engaging for young audiences to build connections and community. If you have questions, please contact us. We would love to help you find the perfect fit!
Virtual Offerings (over Zoom or other platforms)
Adventures with Priscilla
Ages 3 & up
A series of interactive performances featuring Priscilla, a simple hand puppet whose facial parts are all rearrangeable. Perfect as a one-time meeting with a puppet or explore the whole series and delve into SEL (Social Emotional Learning) as children expand their understanding of big feelings. Feeling sad? Angry? Frustrated? Naming our feelings helps us understand them better. Priscilla has big emotions, too, and they are the focus of each episode. “Meet Priscilla,” “Priscilla Wigs Out,” “Feeling Blue,” and “My Screaming Face Is Stuck” are all new offerings. These 20-minute shows can be paired with age appropriate movement and/or puppetmaking activities.
Thinking Outside the Socks
Adaptable to All Ages (even college!)
Our highly popular STEAM presentation is now available virtually. See how puppets work from the inside out! We demonstrate rod puppets, hand puppets, shadow puppets, object theatre, and marionettes. We share each type of puppet with age-appropriate mini-lessons on pivots, levers, springs, and more. This is great to pair up with a performance or a workshop. Time permitting, participants have an opportunity to ask questions about the puppets.
In-Person, Theatrical Offerings (currently available beginning January 1, 2021)
