Barefoot Puppet Theatre has been part of the Virginia Commission for the Arts Touring Program for over twenty years. Companies and artists within this directory have the responsibility for allocating a certain amount of funding that is available to Virginia schools, libraries, museums, and other non-profit organizations. Artists in this directory have gone through a rigorous application process. This program enables many Virginia-based touring artists to share their work throughout the Commonwealth by defraying the travel expenses to communities and venues.
